Building 🏢 workers & other construction workers in rural areas.
#The workers must be registered under
Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OB & OCWWB).
#The district Labour office will submit the list of construction works having existing valid registration with OB &OCWWB .
BDO will sanction houses against the target allotted on the basis of auto generated priority list in Awaasoft Portal for the eligible construction workers.
#Any beneficiaries allotted with a house under
NSPGY whose house has fully damaged/collapsed due to land slide/elephant menace /Earthquake/Flood/Fire Accident/Cyclone will be able to get another NSPGY home.

Pakka house standards
#The houses shall be of RCC or any other materials of equivalent strength approved by Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water (PR&DW) department.
#Minimum Carpet area for the house 25 M2 including hygienic cooking space & excluding toilet
#No Contractor shall be involved for construction of houses under NSPGY.
#The expected life span of the new houses are of minimum 30 years
#Time period to complete the new houses 12 months.
Regarding Financial Aids & Incentives:-
#Funded by OB&OCWWB
#The fund will be sanctioned preferably in the name of woman head of household.
#Payment shall be credited to the beneficiary`s account from the bank account maintained by State-level by PR & DW through PFMS.
#For IAP DISTRICTS:- 1,30,000 /-per house
For Non IAP DISTRICTS:-1,20,000 /-per house
For IHHL:-12000/- under Swachha Bharat Mission
(IHHL- Individual HouseHold Latrine)
#For completion of house & IHHL within 4 months
of receipt of 1st instalment,
Extra 20,000/- will be paid to beneficiaries.
For completion of house & IHHL within 6 months
of receipt of 1st instalment,
Extra 10,000/- will be paid to beneficiaries.
#The Payment Installments are same as
BIJU PAKKA GHAR YOJANA (BPGY)
EXTRA FEATURES:-
The beneficiary will get
-Potable( Bisudha) drinking water Supply stem
-Electrification under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDU GJY/BGJY)
-Wages for land development under MGNREGS
-Social security under AABY/RSBY.
